Obituary for Alton W. Stovall
Mr. Alton W. Stovall, age 87 of 123 Timberlane Drive, Hartwell, Ga, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loved ones on November 11, 2016 at his home.
He was born on October 4, 1929, in Hartwell, Ga. He was the son of the late Alex Stovall and Mittie Crook Stovall. He was a retired life insurance salesman with Liberty National. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was also a member of Oak Bower Baptist Church of Hartwell. Mr. Stovall loved spending time with his family and fishing in his free time.
He is survived by his daughter Lynne Stovall Beach and her husband Craig of Suwanee, Ga, his sister Joan Thomas of Hartwell, and his granddaughters; Rachael and Rebecca Foster, and Samantha Beach. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Sarah Ann Sewell Stovall; brothers Holton “Buck” Stovall, Herman Stovall, and Leslie Wayne “Pete” Stovall; and sisters Sallye White, Ruby Senkbeil, and Ruth Herndon.
Graveside services celebrating the life of Mr. Alton Stovall will be held on Sunday November, 13, 2016 at 4:30pm at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Mr. Craig Beach will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Coile-Hall-Spagnoli Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 3:00 to 4:15pm before the graveside service.
