Charles Morgan

Mr. Charles F Morgan of Hartwell, Ga passed away at his home on March 24, 2022. 

He was blessed to have his wife, daughter,  and sister-in-law with him during his last days.  Charles was a devoted husband to his wife Eleanor Nichols Morgan.

Charles had 2 daughters, 1 son and 6 grandchildren. 

Charles attended Georgia Tech and was an entrepreneur and property investor living in Atlanta, Georgia until he retired to his lake home in Hartwell full time three years ago. 

Charles lived a full life filled with fishing, Ga Tech football, NASCAR, hunting, traveling, and building Morgan Stables in Hartwell.  His joy was in sharing the gospel and love of Christ with others and was able to sponsor a youth camp in Belarus for several years as well and be involved in creating Christian Sportsman Fellowship. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Eleanor Nichols Morgan, and daughter Maureen Morgan and Angela Zimmerman. 

Services for Mr. Morgan will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Rainbow Village non profit in Gwinnett County.

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors 333 E Johnson Street, Hartwell Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
