Cornelius W. Lee

Mr. Cornelius Wade Lee, age 71 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.

He was born August 29, 1953 in Royston, to the late Flem Lee and Louien Smith Lee. He was retired from textiles and a local hospital. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.

Left to cherish his memory are; his wife, Louise Carver Lee, children, Elizabeth Joy Chastain of Eastanollee, Ga., Shannon Lee of Colbert, Ga., step-sons, Thomas Carver of Canon, Ga., James "Doug" Carver and Jerry (Marie) Carver both of Hartwell, Ga.  Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren survive along with a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son in law, Tony Chastain, sister, Carolyn Elgin, brother, Dan Lee, step daughters in law, Diane Carver and Betty Carver.

The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned at this time.
