Dan Larry Franks Jr.

Mr. Dan "Larry" Franks Jr., age 53 of Royston Ga,  passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side after a tough fought battle with ALS. He was born on January 6, 1971 in Royston, GA to Mr. Dan Larry Franks Sr. and Mrs. Linda McGarity Franks. Larry loved the Lord and was a member of the Pointe Church in Eastanollee, Ga. He worked as a physical therapist with Enhabit Health for 12 years and was employed with the Hart County Sheriff's Office for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed hunting in Canada, Illinois and Wyoming with his Father and his son as well as with other great friends  through the years. 

Larry was preceded in death by his sister Kelli Franks Creason.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents;  his loving wife, Melanie Briscoe Franks; his daughter Breanna (Todd) Davis of Royston, son Matthew Larry (Karley) Franks of Carnesville; granddaughter Millie Mae Franks, and Miles Matthew Franks. 

Larry's wishes were to be cremated. The family will greet friends on Sunday January 28, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Pointe Church in Eastanollee, Ga followed by his memorial service at 4:00 pm. Pastor Chad Smith will officiate along with Mike Crowe and Ricky Boleman.
