Dennis Bailey

Mr. Dennis Michael Bailey, age 71 of Walters Road in Lavonia, Ga., passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at home.

He was born on March 10, 1952 in Fairplay, S.C., to the late William Luther Bailey and Eva Mae Hill Bailey. Dennis was a truck driver and loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and mowing his lawn. He was a Holiness by faith and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Left to cherish his memories are; his wife, Sherry Bryant Bailey, son, Steven Bailey of Lavonia, Ga., sisters, Winnie Lou Cole and Peggy Lovelace along with three grandchildren, Marissa, Logan and Dustin Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Bowers Memorial Gardens in Canon, Ga., with military honors provided by the U.S. Army.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2023 6-8 p.m.  at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home, 820 Walters Road in Lavonia.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
