Dorothy Holland

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Cooper Holland, age 88 of 2527 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her home following a sudden illness.

Born January 31, 1929 in Atlanta she was the daughter of the late Pride Alexander Cooper and Mattie Mae Rocker Cooper. She was a homemaker and was of the christian faith. She and her husband lived in several locations throughout his career with IBM such as Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Albuquerque, N.M., and Atlanta, Ga., where they retired and moved to Hartwell, Ga.. Over the years she enjoyed boating, camping, vegetable and flower gardening and her family.

She is survived by; one nephew, seven nieces and more than thirty great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, sisters, Ruth Toddler and Miriam Edwards, brothers, Cecil L., Pride A., Jr., James W., Donald R. and Julian Z. (Buddy) Cooper.

There will be no services.
