Eileen Acampora

Ms. Eileen Agnes Acampora, age 76 of Roach Road in Royston, Ga., passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional.

She was born on November 12, 1946 in Springfield, N.J. to the late Robert Voorhees and Marie Bieger Voorhees.

Left to cherish her memories are; her daughter, Angela Marie (Juan) Melendez and son, Joseph Anthony Acampora, siblings, Marie, Marlene, Margaret and Alan and nephew, Larry Thorne. Grandchildren, Katlyn (Virgil) Gentry, Kimberlynn Acampora, J.J. Acampora, Anthony Melendez and Christopher Melendez, great-grands, Gideon and Gabriel Gentry.

The family has chosen cremation and no formal service will be held at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors/Lake Hartwell Cremation Center, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
