Geneva Jones (Thomas)

Mrs. Geneva Thomas Jones, age 72 of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Campus.

She was born on September 23, 1948 in Royston, Georgia and she was a member of Royston Grove Baptist Church. She retired from the medical field.

Left to cherish her memories are; her children, Charles Thomas, Hartwell, Ga., Jeffery Thomas, Anderson, S.C., Eugene Thomas, Anderson, S.C., Renee Thomas, Hartwell, Ga., and Angela Thomas, Hartwell, Ga., two grandchildren reared in the home, Javarious Roebuck and Iesha Brown, siblings, John Henry Thomas, Sr., Hartwell, Ga., Willie Mae Hardy, Athens, Ga., and Twenty-three grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Thomas and Catherine Bell Thomas, husband, Leroy Jones, sister, Lillie Rankin, great-grandchildren, Mylil Rendrick Campbell and Charles Taji Thomas.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Geneva Jones will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at One o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston, Ga.

The family will greet friends Thursday 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at 91 Faye Kight Circle in Hartwell.

All arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
