George Milton Scott, Sr.

George Milton Scott, Sr, age 75 of Royston, GA, entered into eternal sleep on Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home. George was born April 26, 1948 in Hart County GA to the late Henry Scott Sr and Ruby Jones.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sara Scott, his son Parick Scott and his siblings Grady Thomas, Debra McGlockling, Douglas “Batman” Vinson and Veronica Roebuck all of Royston, GA.

His favorite saying is “Life is Beautiful”.

 Left to cherish his memories are his six children: Emmanuel (Lisa) Scott, George (Jeanette) Scott, Jr, Shenna (Steven) Glaze, Cynthia (Mark) Hunter, Michael (Dr Nicole) Scott and Barry Scott; one brother Henry Scott, one aunt Edna Roebuck; Grandchildren: Mattavius Scott, Keyone Scott, Bernard Scott, Imani Willoughby, Sarah Saylors, Serena Saylors, Victoria Vanish and Christian Michael Scott; two great-grand children: Khloe Scott and Chance Brown; six sisters-in-law: Madelyn Williams, Carrie Mayfield, Ida Jones, Ophelia Jones, Dorothy Jarrell and Christine Jones, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Garden in Canon, Ga.

He will lie in state at the funeral home for public viewing from 12:00-4:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024 for those that wish to pay their respects.
