Helen Peeples Banister

Mrs. Helen Peeples Banister, age 64, of Royston, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2023 at her home.

Ms. Banister was born on October 26, 1958 in Royston, Georgia to the late Frank and Ruby Peeples Peeples. She worked in Quality Control and was an active member of the cancer support group at Pennington Chapel Church. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her free time. She was a member of New Hope Worship Center.

Helen Peeples Banister was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ellen Matthews, Bobby Peeples, Margaret Fortson, Jeannette Adams, Betty Baskins, and Linda Rudeseal.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Banister, children, Michael Banister and Alison Hart. Siblings, Elaine Finley, June Brooks, Tommy Fitzpatrick, Kathy Fowler, Joel Peeples, and Don Peeples. Grandchildren, Kristen Banister, Ryan Hart and Adam Hart.

In accordance with her wishes, Ms. Helen Peeples Banister will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Bert Synan officiating. The Family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00am-1:00pm. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of Alison Hart. 4970 New Franklin Church Road in Canon, GA.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
