James "Jimmy" Cooper, Jr.

Mr. James Cooper, Jr., age 77 of 41 Cade Street in Hartwell, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at home following a sudden illness.

He was born on October 22, 1945, in Winder, GA. to the late James Gibson Cooper Sr. and Thelma May Matthews Cooper.

Mr. Cooper worked for Lockheed-Martin in QA for over 30 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Airforce.

He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and coached his son in little league.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his son, Trey Cooper (Lori). He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family has chosen cremation and no formal services will be held.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
