Janet Sims

Mrs. Janet Sims, age 80 of Hartwell, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

She was born on April 26, 1942, to the late John Sims and Henrietta Wiley Waller.

Mrs. Sims enjoyed cooking, yard sales, gardening, traveling, and attending Church. She was a member of Hartwell Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Sims was also a foster parent and took care of many children throughout the years.

She leaves to cherish her memory; children, Sue Hill (Curtis), William Eades (Netra), and Dorian Cobb, grandchildren, Takia Wakefield, Vakeshia Saddler, Shawn Hill, Cory Hill, Kwintasha Hill, Delenzo Cox, Kaylin Lawrence, Kennedi Eades, Kensley Eades, Kallee Eades, 9 great-grandchildren, and sister, Harriet Waller Simpson (Albert).  

Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Sims will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 3pm at Hartwell Church of God of Prophey. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
