Janice Dinkins Ferguson

Mrs. Janice Dinkins Ferguson, age 97 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center.

She was born on March 26, 1927 in Duncan, MS to the late John Weems Dinkins and Janice Houston Dinkins, Janice loved to dance and made a career of it. She performed as a Rockette in New York City and owned a dance school in Virginia Beach, VA.

Left to cherish her memory are; daughter, Jan Hadden and son, John Ferguson along with a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

To honor her request she will be cremated and no formal service will be held at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
