Jeannette Bailey

Miss T. Jeannette Bailey, age 87 of Hartwell passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Hart Care Center following declining health.

She was born on November 10, 1934 in Hartwell to the late Wake Monroe Bailey and Jessie Elease Walters Bailey. She was a banker before retiring. Jeanette loved to travel and was especially thankful for her trip to Jerusalem. She also loved her dogs and loved attending church when able. She was a die hard Atlanta Braves Fan.

She is survived by; nieces and nephews, Jimmy O'Dell, George Bailey, Jr., Anita Still, Wake Bailey, Michael Phillips, Steve Phillips, and Julie Isom and by her sister in law Elizabeth Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, George Herman Bailey, Mary Lilliar O'Dell, Margaret Nell Norris and Jule Wilson Bailey.

A memorial celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Eleven o'clock from the Sanctuary of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Rev. Jason Webb will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 1, 2022 from 10-11 at the church just prior to the service. She will be laid to rest privately at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
