Jerone Carlton Denney

Mr. Jerone Carlton Denney, age 70 of Reed Creek Community, Hartwell, Ga., passed away at home following a brief illness on Friday, November 29, 2024.

He was born in Anderson, S.C., on May 2, 1954 to the late J.B. Denney and Allene Bryant Denney. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Left to cherish his memories are; his wife, Cheryl Ann O'Barr Denney of Hartwell, son, Daryl (Natasha) Denney of Hartwell, sister, Tonya (Ted) Skelton of Central, S.C. along with grandchildren, Laura Ann Denney, Jaxon Wayne Denney, Nariah Fields and Taryn Fields. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kevin Denney, siblings, Madeline, Benney, Phillip and Marian Denney, Eloise Smith and Michael Atkinson.

Funeral services honoring the life of Carlton Denney will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Eleven o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central, S.C. 

Family members will be at their respective homes. and will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
