John David Pless

Mr. John David Pless, age 71 of Elberton, GA passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta.

He was born October 23, 1952 in Elberton to the late Harlis Monroe Pless and Parie Taylor Pless. John was a entrepreneur, member of Hartwell Farmers Market, and avid fisherman, and he wrote articles for Georgia Outdoors Magazine. He was a Christian.

Left to cherish his memories are; his sons, John Brian Pless and Michael James Lentime, siblings, Fred Pless and Nellie Capall along with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Lawrence Pless, Charles Pless, Nancy Blackmon and Bobby Pless.

The family has chosen cremation and no formal services will be held at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA.
