Billy Ross, Jr.

Mr. John William (Billy) Ross, age 66 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at NEGA Medical Center, Gainesville.

He was born on August 29, 1957 in Greenville, S.C., to the late John William Ross, Sr., and Joan Fortner Ross. He was a Logistics Manager at Lockheed Greenville. He enjoyed boating and Clemson Football. He was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish his memories are; his sister, Kay (Kenneth)Truelove of Hartwell, Ga., nieces, Melissa Truelove and Courtney DeLoach, nephew, Micheal Truelove along with two great nieces and six great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Ross.

A service celebrating the life of Billy Ross will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Three o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Pittman officiating. The family will greet friends 2-3 just prior to the service at the funeral home. Family members will be at their respective homes.
