Mr. Johnny William Coile, age 84, of Cokesbury Highway, Hartwell, husband of the late Jeanette Seawright Coile, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday evening, September 30, 2021, at his residence following a period of declining health.
Mr. Coile was born in Elbert County on February 28, 1937, to Floyd William Coile and Lillian Craft Coile Wrenn White. He retired from Tugaloo Construction Company after many years of service. Along with his son, Tim, he founded Coile's Garage where he worked as a mechanic. Johnny attended Cokesbury United Methodist Church and loved being with his family and friends.
He is survived by two sons: Timothy Coile and Christopher Coile, both of Hartwell; grandsons: Jonathan Coile and Tyler Coile; great-grandchildren: Johnny Boone, Tucker, and Cooper; brother, Ray Wrenn of Abbeville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Sheila Laviolette Coile; great-grandson, Bodhi Luke Coile; and siblings: Barbara Campbell and Larry Wrenn.
Funeral services celebrating Johnny's life will be held on Tuesday morning, October 5, at 11 o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with the Revs. Tommy Childress and Richard Jarvis officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Garden of Prayer. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. The family will be at the home.
