Judith Gail Peebles

Mrs. Judith Gail Burgett Peebles, age 83 of Hartwell, GA., passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025 at home.

A native of Akron, OH she was born on November 10, 1941 and was a homemaker and worked in Social Services.  She attended Hartwell First Methodist Church. She helped care for more than 7000 animals with Hart County Humane Society. Her compassion was immeasurable and her dedication to animal rescue was unrelenting.

Left to cherish her memory are; her husband, Thomas Arthur Peebles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Burgett and Grace Adams Burgett and her sister, Susan Harnly.

Judith will be cremated in accordance to her wishes and no services are planned at this time. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
