Larry Michael Rowland

Mr. Larry Michael Rowland, age 70 of 851 B. Bailey Road, Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest on Tuesday morning, February 6, 2018 at Hart Care Center.

Born in Hart County, he was the son of the late Billy Jim Rowland and Audrey Cleveland Rowland. He was a carpenter and mason in the construction industry. He was of the baptist faith and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of American Legion Post #109.

He is survived by; son, Randall Rowland (Angie) of Hartwell, Ga., and daughter, Lisa Marie Newton, Longview, WA, siblings, Randall Rowland, and Carol Lewis, Hartwell, Ga., Vickie Mulkey, and Shelby Whitman of Anderson, S.C. Grandchildren surviving, Michael Rowland, Justin Ethridge, Heather Mealor, Tristan Rowland, Brian Bergquist and Daniel Ruiz. Nine great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Debra Ann Evans Rowland, brother, Wayne Rowland and sister, Betty Campbell.

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Rowland will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Two O'Clock p.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, with Military honors Rev. Johnny Stowe and Mr. Fred Greenway will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12-2 prior to the service at the funeral home.. At his request cremation will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Larry's military service the family has requested memorials be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, PO Box 50008 Studio City, CA 91614-5001

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Rowland family.
