Lucius Freeman

Mr. Lucius J. Freeman, age 91, of Hoschton, GA., formerly of Hartwell, GA. passed away at his home on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

He was born on December 21, 1930, to the late Lucius J. Freeman Sr. and Vashti Woodlief Freeman in Henderson, NC.

Mr. Freeman was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Hartwell, GA., past Chairmen Board of Deacons, member of the American Legion Post 109, founding member of the Hartwell Tail Spinners Club, Gideon's, and after retirement, startup founder of the Micron Optics, and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Lucius is survived by his wife, Minnie Freeman.

Services were held on Tuesday, January 11, 2021, at two o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors 333 E Johnson St. Hartwell, GA, 30643. Visitation was held from 1 -2 pm. Burial was at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors were provided by the U.S. Air Force.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
