Mabel Okes Veal, age 96 of Hartwell Georgia, passed away on May 28, 2024 at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on December 20, 1927 in Grafton, West Virginia to the late Owen Oliver Okes and Billie Stater Okes. Mabel had worked in the gourmet food industry and was of the Methodist faith.
Left to cherish her memories are; children, Patty Boyce and Albert Smith, both of Hartwell, siblings, Patricia Jo Reece, Phyllis Lemons and three grandchildren, Jason Boyce, Haley Smith and Drew Smith, great-grandchildren, Owen Boyce and Callum Boyce survive. She is preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings..
Her wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
