Margaret Peltier (Tinkey)
Mrs. Margaret Tinkey Peltier, age 98 of 94 Cade Street in Hartwell, Ga., went to be with God on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Hartwell Health and Rehab.
She was born on March 3, 1922 in Hibbing MN to the late George Tinkey and Hazel Bartlett Tinkey. She was a retired farmer and attended Benton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by; her son, Jerry Peltier of Lavonia, Ga., and daughter, Sue Lyons of Charlotte, MI. Eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and children, Bonnie Norris and Charlotte Wright.
The family will host a private memorial gathering in Michigan at a later date.
