Mary Knowles Marett

Mrs. Mary Knowles Marett, age 92 of Hartwell, Ga. passed away on December 18, 2024.

She was born on February 12, 1932 in Elberton, Ga., to the late Joe Knowles and Lilly Mae Sanders Knowles. She was retired from the medical field as a nurse and was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are; children, Debra M. Mize of Bowman, Ga., son, H. David Marett of Wilmington, N.C., and six grandchildren;        Kristie Hendrix, Genie and Ellie Marett, Braedon and Jordan Haag, and Emily Mize Thompson  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hugh D. Marett and siblings, Lilly Webster, Clifford, Claude and Harold Greenway, Roland Knowles, Mae Santos and Winette Bryant.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at One o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the funeral home where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home on Monday December 23, 2024 .

Family members will be at their respective homes.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
