Mrs. Nicki Sanchez Meyer, age 63 of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at her home.
She was born at Fort Bragg, NC, on October 11, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Frank E. Sanchez. Nicki was retired from corporate banking in retail management. She and Don retired to Hartwell in 2011 after living in Miami, FL most of her life, and in 2012 she became director of Hart County Chamber of Commerce, a position she held until 2017. She was a member of Hartwell Service League and a supporter of local causes and she was a Christian.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Don Meyer, mother, Mary Warren Sanchez of Anderson, SC, daughter, Michelle Meyer King and her husband, Maj. Wesley King of Alexandria, VA, brothers, Michael Sanchez (Vivian) of Pembroke Pines, FL, and David Sanchez (Juanita) of Fountain Inn, SC. Two beautiful grandchildren, Charlie and Mackenna King.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 at four o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Pastor Nick Rucker and Mr. Mitch Slayton will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service and then a time of celebration and fellowship will follow at the Boathouse Grill at Hartwell Marina. Nicki requested that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rail Road Street Project (T.O.R.C.H) P.O. Box 971, Hartwell, Ga. 30643 or Hart County Golden K, P.O. Box 832 Hartwell, Ga. 30643 or any local charity in her memory.
The family will be at the home, 1518 Yacht Club Road in Hartwell.
