Peggy Norton

Ms. Peggy Bailey Norton, age 81 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

She was born on April 8, 1942 in Hartwell to the late Mack Bailey and Mary "Mutt" Haley Bailey. Peggy was a child care provider in earlier years and later provided care to the sick and elderly. She was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are; her grandson, Daniel Bryant, great-granddaughter, Ember Bryant, nieces, Angie, Rhonda, Lisa and Kristie. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tammy Bryant, son in law, Ben Bryant, siblings, Connie Bailey and George Bailey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.

 No formal service will be held. To honor her wishes, Peggy will be cremated.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
