Phyllis Alexander

Mrs. Phyllis Elaine Sayer Alexander, age 62 passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 suddenly at her Deep Creek Cove home in Clarkesville, Ga.

She was born on June 20, 1960 in Hartwell to the late Joe Dalton Sayer. Phyllis was a housekeeper at a camping resort. She loved camping, working in her flower garden and loved her family. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Left to cherish her memories are; her mother, Eleanor Carnes Sayer, husband, James E. Alexander, children, Jeremy (Adrienne) Beatenbo of Toccoa, Ga.,  April (Rodney) Cowart and Amy (Shane) Seymour, both of Hartwell, Ga., siblings, Johnny Sayer, Toccoa, Ga., Benjie Sayer, Bowersville, Ga., and Steve (Lisa) Sayer of Hartwell, Ga., brother in law, Wayne (Jan) Alexander,  best friend, Jackie Carruth, and her fur baby, Missy.  She was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Joe Mathis Sayer.  

Funeral services for Phyllis Sayer Alexander will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Two o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Family members will be at their respective homes.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
