Ralph Dennis Carter

Ralph Dennis Carter age 68 of Hartwell, GA. passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born on May 13, 1956 in Royston, Georgia. He was the son of Mr. William "Dub" Carter and Weder Aldean Hammonds Carter.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-1978. He was then employed as a maintenance tech at Certainteed and later worked at Pilgrims Pride. He loved to hunt, fish, cook and be with family. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gidget Christian Carter, his father, and his brother, Elco Carter. 

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Weder Aldean Hammonds Carter of Danielsville, GA; his children, John (Aimee) Carter of Bluffton, SC, Jessica Hernandez of Dallas, GA, Justin Martin of Hartwell GA; his siblings, Barbara Phillips of Royston, GA, Donald Carter (Sheila) of Elberton, GA, Kenneth Carter (Sharon) of Athens, GA; grandchildren Hector Hernandez, Angelic Hernandez, Juanita Hernandez, and great grandson Hector Hernandez Jr. 

Mr. Carter wished to be cremated and no service is planned at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.
