Mr. Roger Junior Meeks, age 75, of Canon, GA, entered into rest at AnMed Health Medical Center on September 16, 2017 in Anderson, SC
.
He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Buron Ambrus Meeks and Bertha Cook Meeks He worked in the manufacturing industry, retiring as a sheet metal operative.
He is survived by; his wife Joyce Annette Metcalf Meeks, his children, Vince Meeks of Hartwell, GA, Mike Meeks of Dacula, GA, Jeff Meeks of Canon, GA, Angie Le of Lawrenceville, GA, Missy Hayes of Jefferson, GA, Connor Meeks of Canon, GA, Nick Rawlings of Loganville, GA. Siblings; Alfred Meeks, Leon Meeks, Carol Hunter and Billy Meeks. Nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren survive. He is proceeded in death by his parents and siblings; Dean Meeks, LB Meeks, Hazel Chastain and Doris Purvis.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Roger Junior Meeks will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Two o'clock p.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral directors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday 12-2 prior to the service at the funeral Home.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Meeks family.
