Ronnie Weaver, age 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at his home.Born April 13, 1949, in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Monroe Frederick Weaver and Clara Bryson Weaver. He was married for 50 wonderful years to Jane Smith Weaver until her death in 2021. He was also preceded in death by 4 siblings, Jane Deal, Hubert Weaver, Claudine Bowen, and Mike Weaver.Ronnie was a graduate of Hart County High School and was retired from Canteen. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. In his spare time, he could be found piddling with small engines. What Ronnie loved most of all though was his family and his pet birds.He is survived by his children, Mark Weaver (Katherine) and Kristy Lowe (Chad); grandchildren, Griffin Lowe, Carson Lowe, Braiden Weaver, and Caroline Weaver; and sisters, Louise Ray and Shelby Jo Franklin.The funeral service with military honors will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 1:00 pm at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Durham officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
