Sharon Blassingame

Ms. Sharon Virginia Blassingame, age 66 of Gainesville, Ga., formerly of Hartwell, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at her home.

She was born on April 24, 1956 in Hartwell, Ga., to the late Connie Blassingame and Melvin Jones Blassingame. Sharon was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memories are; her son, Hasan Jermain Blassingame of Hartwell, siblings, Edward Blassingame, Athens, Ga., Patricia (Glenn) Blassingame, Melba Blassingame, Paula (Larry) Roebuck, Tracy McCord all of Hartwell and James Sean Blassingame of Martin, Ga. Three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Bobby, Anthony and David Blassingame.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Three o'clock at Hartwell Church of God of Prophecy.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
