Sherry Smith

Mrs. Essie Sherlenn "Sherry" McKinley Smith, age 72 of Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2022.

She was born April 25, 1950 in New Mexico to the late William Andrew McKinley and Clara Lavon Galloway McKinley. She retired from the State of New Mexico in Human Resources. She attended Carnesville Church of God and loved to garden and spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are; her son, Edward Smith of Carnesville and daughter, Kimberlee Massey of Frisco, TX., siblings, Kevin and Faron McKinley, grandchildren, Alyssa, William and Kathryn Smith and Alayna and Kyrie Massey. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Tommy W. Smith.

The family will hold a private burial on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Milton Fields in Milton, GA. A memorial service celebrating the life of Sherry Smith will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Grace Fellowship Church in Toccoa at One o'clock.

The family will be at their respective homes.
