Steven Hunter

Mr. Steven Bernard Hunter, age 55 of Royston Georgia, passed away April 14, 2025. 

He was born August 7, 1969 to Steven William Hunter and the late Shirley Ann Hunter. He was employed by Linde Weimann where  he was a dedicated worker. He last attended church at St. Mary's in Royston, Ga. He was one of the biggest Georgia Bulldog fans you could ever meet.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Shirley Ann Hunter, a grandmother, Ida Thomas who he loved dearly, aunts, Lucille Geter and Sally Jane Thomas, uncles, Oneal Thomas and Garfield Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Stephanie Charmaine Hunter, granddaughter, Jazire Monae' Hunter who was the beat of his heart, father, Steven William Hunter, sister Mildred Hunter (Chad) of Elberton, Ga., Sharon Hunter of Royston, Ga., Mark Hunter (Cynthia) of Carnesville, GA., four step-kids he raised as his own, Lawren Brown, Vanetta Brown, Dejon Brown and Willie Brown and eighteen step-grandkids that all called him Poppa B O along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a very close and dear friend, Vanessa Brown, whom they had a bond not understood by most.

Funeral services will be take place on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Garden in Canon, Ga.

He will lie in state on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour for those that wish to pay their respects.
