Teresa Lynn Brown, 63, wife of Harris Brown, of Anderson, died Saturday, April 30, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on June 4, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Grady Troy Dearman and Vivian Mae Dutton Dearman.

Teresa was the Administrative Assistant at Pendleton United Methodist Church in Pendleton, S.C., and had served Hart County, Ga, for many years, as a county magistrate. She was an excellent cook and baker and loved collecting teacups. Her love for collecting also had her visiting and enjoying “tea time” at several tea shops around the South. She was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Harris Brown, her daughter, Melanie March (Brandon), her son, Bryan Brown (Ashley), and her grandchildren; John Broome Jr., Clarkson March, Luke Brown, and Ellie Brown.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Dearman.

The family will host a memorial service at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Pendleton United Methodist Church, 217 S. Broad St., Pendleton, S.C. 29670. Rev. Kim Strong will officiate.
