Virginia Wilson

Mrs. Virginia Lynn Crenshaw Wilson, age 81 of 200 Oak Park Lane in Canon, Ga., passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

She was born on July 28, 1941 in Pickens, S.C., to the late Clyde Crenshaw and Carolyn Banks Crenshaw Boggs. Virginia retired from Savannah Valley Egg Company where she worked in quality control. She loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Barry (Lyle) Jacks of Pickens, S.C., Lynne Dickerson and Joske of Canon, Ga., and Denise Wallace and David of Bowman, Ga., grandchildren, Chris Hanley, Justin Dickerson, Dillon Jacks, Kimberly Ayers and Caitlin Royston. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Wilson, brother, Robert Crenshaw and grandchild, Dakota Jacks.

A graveside funeral service honoring the life of Virginia Crenshaw Wilson will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Eleven o'clock from the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Jock Hendricks officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. just prior the graveside service at the funeral home.

Family members will be at their respective homes.  

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
