Willie Ramsey

Mr. Willie Joe Ramsey, age 76 of Dewy Rose, Ga., passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehab, Wadley, Ga.

He was born on February 24, 1946, in Hart County GA., to the late Floyd Ramsey and Mattie Rucker Ramsey.

Mr. Ramsey was retired as a machine operator and a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Willie Joe Ramsey umpired at Hart County Recreation Department and worked at LHP for many years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his aunt; Mozelle Sadler, siblings; Roy Ramsey (Deloris), Harry Ramsey (Angela), George Ramsey, Mozelle Martin (Andy), Annie Allen (Tracy) , Vickie Ramsey, Lamar Peterson, special friend: Frances Morrison, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Ramsey will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at eleven o'clock at Maple Spring Baptist Church with Elder Vintravious Martin officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the funeral home.
