William Herbert Adams

William Herbert Adams, age 89 of Royston, Ga. passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 25, 2024. He was born on October 17, 1934 to the late William Irvin Adams and Vada Bell Wiggins Adams in Cobb County Ga. 

He began active duty with the United States Marine Corp as a seaman in 1952 Where he served until 1955 and fought in the Korean War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the China Service Medal extended, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Cherri Lynn Sample, Merri Alice Lowe, Sarah Caroline Davis, Jennifer Wilene Adams, grandchildren; Justin Davis, Brook Adams, Gracie Adams, Rachael Lowe, Paul Lowe and great-grandson Sammy Lowe.

He was cremated according to his wishes and a memorial service will be planned at a later date by his family. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral DIrectors, 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, Ga.
